Our ERR REC Library collection has finally returned for the third edition!

After dwelling in Urban Spaces (Vol.1) and discovering Science & Technology (Vol.2), we have the pleasure of announcing ERR REC Library Vol. 3-Wild Life/Vie sauvage.

This time around we have decided to turn our attention towards all things natural—the great green beyond, wild animals in their natural habitat, the bio-diversity that we (humans, mostly) plunder relentlessly, without mercy. This concept album takes shape thanks to a group of outstanding composers and their bevy of analogue synthesizers, combined with various electric and acoustic instruments (as per usual).

Après le Vol.1 Espaces Urbains, le Vol.2 Science et Technologie, voici le Vol.3 Wild Life – Vie Sauvage

Cet "concept album"voit le jour grâce à une équipe de compositrices-eurs hors pair derrières des machines et synthétiseurs analogiques + autres instruments électriques et acoustiques.

Après avoir ironiquement célébré dans le Vol.2 la Science et la Technologie qui nous promettaient un avenir radieux, nous avons décidé de célébrer la nature et les animaux sauvages, la bio-diversité que nous autres, êtres humains, saccageons et pillons sans relâche ni pitié. Bonne écoute !

REALLY wish I'd subscribed sooner to be able to enjoy this on vinyl! Curious the artist cited 12 Monkeys and not La Jetee as one of the key inspirations. For me, this has a more somber, introspective and timeless feel more akin to La Jetee than 12 Monkeys (though I also am a big fan of Terry Gilliam). Gorgeous music and you get the bonus of a list of excellent movies to enjoy (another note to the artist: Time Crimes is also a good film to watch). Now to somehow procure a vinyl copy...
